Please let me know

Salaam 'Alaikum!

I added a Feedjit gadget.:) I think one of the best parts of blogging for me is seeing the different countries that visit my blog. It just gives me such a thrill to see Pakistan, India, Italy, UK,USA and the latest Czech Republic (eish, I didn't know where that is) listed under 'stats'. However, I've noticed that since I added the Feedjit gadget - my denim background has totally disappeared, & is replaced by plain white. I have NO idea how and why that happened. Please let me know if it's the same for you - or is there just something wrong with my network connection?

Update (16 Oct. 10):
It seems that my background disappearance condition was self-limiting. My blog has fully recovered from its day of total pallor. :)

As salaamu alaikum Sis Bint Mahmood!

1. Thanks so much for following my blog, even though I'm "away" but it's Jumu'ah, so thought I would stop by . . . .again. :-)

2. I'm your visitor from the Czech Republic by the way, so don't worry, just little old harmless me. :-P Yup, an American in Europe - only one more year though!

3. Hmm, about adding the Feedjit thing, everything stayed the same when I added it . . don't know why your background went away - hope you can figure it out . . . you'll just have to play around with your layout and the code I guess, but just adding a gadget such as Feedjit shouldn't alter your background, as the code for both are separate things that you have added.

Alright, need to get some work done before a dinner at my friend's apartment later this evening. :-D

Best wishes always,
Ma'salaam
Br. MF

@MuslimFirst, Wa 'alaikumus salaam. Dude, thanks for visiting and commenting on my blog - I really appreciate it(I mean it) :)

All the best for your final year *I wish I was in final year too, second year seems sooo far away*

I admire your ability not to blog - I seem to blog even in the middle of tests!

JazakAllah Khair for being part of my international audience :)

@Sabee, hahaha! Yep, seems like I managed to dye it again!
I've still no idea what went wrong neither do I know how it sorted itself out - I touched nothing. :)

Salaam . . Dudette :-P. You're welcome! Um, I guess I'll follow you in return - though I don't to look like some weirdo who only following sisters' blogs, but for some reason, so many sisters are following mine, so sometimes, I just follow back to return the favor, though I love commenting (see later, below).

Thanks for the good wishes - so you're a medical student as well? No need to answer that of course . .

Wow, South African - very cool! Um . . Jambo!! That's a South African greeting right? I learnt it waay back in grade school and it was used in Shakira's World Cup song.

Oh, yeah I've come to love blogging as well, but mostly, I LOVE COMMENTING!! :-D I "stalk" several blogs, hehe!

Wa iyyak - did you look up where the Czech Republic is? Hint: It's near Germany. Geography lesson! That was so sweet when you wrote "Eish I donm't know where that is!"

Wow, your blog looks so cool with the denim! I love it! Blue is my favorite color, so it's really aesthetically pleasing. THe layout as a whole is really nice, the way the date is for each post for example.

OK, take care dear Sis!

Ma'salaam/Allah Hafiz/Wa alaikum as salaam wr wb.

SIS!!! There is a problem - I am able to move around the different parts of your blog layout - you know, with that four arrow cursor - yikes - don't worry I didn't move anything, but there is clearly an issue (see, I'm stalking you already! lol)

Salaam again - You can disregard the above comment - while the elements move - they bounce back to place when you let go of the mouse button :-).

Is Jambo really a South African greeting? I've never heard it before... well I guess we do have 11 official languages so maybe it's a greeting in one of them!
I only know the following greetings:
Zulu = Sawubona
Sotho = Dumela :)

Salaam Sis Sabeehah - oh, are you in Pretoria then (I'm guessing from the Feedjit feed, hehe)?

I just looked it up on Wikipeda and it's a Swahili greeting . . Swahili is not spoken in SA, is it?

Slmz
No Swahili is not a South African language but I have heard some of my Kenyan colleagues speak it:)
